The Gauteng Department of Economic Development required mobile offices to formalise township economies across Gauteng, and to transfer resources to communities with little infrastructure. The mobile offices needed to offer business registrations, liquor license applications, gambling board submissions, RDP housing applications and tourism board information on board.


Mobile Processing Solutions provided the Department with five mobile units consisting of 5 one-on-one workstations each, complete with staff comfort necessities, disability lift, customised branding and continuous internet connectivity. Our sustainable services turn-key solution furthermore provides the Department with vehicle operators, an operations plan as well as preventative and reactive vehicle maintenance.


The project, which has been operational since April 2016, has increasingly seen great numbers of people on site and continue to take the Department’s services to previously inaccessible communities. We are working hand in hand with the Department in creating integrated statistical database solutions and improving service delivery to ultimately revive and encourage township entrepreneurship.
